Ollie and I struggled out of bed at 4am this morning to make it to the ANZAC Day dawn service  (5.15am!) at the NZ Embassy – so tired now, but it was definitely worth it!

We try to go every year to remember the Kiwi and Aussie soldiers that fought and died at Gallipoli in 1915, during WWI.

Plus, the NZ Embassy puts on the BEST breakfast afterwards! hehe

After the big brekky we filled in the time before work by going to check out Ritan Park (Sun Temple Park) which is so pretty and one of my favourite parks in Beijing! And early morning is the best time to visit – everyone is out doing tai-chi, singing, dancing, jogging! Just a pity the sun didn’t want to come out…
