Bargaining at Yashow…

Fake designer goods are a notorious issue in China… and Yashow is one of the markets where you’ll find fakes galore! Although I don’t go too often as the bargaining and crowds can make it a tiring experience, it’s also a great place to pick up some Chinese knick-knacks and souvenirs, get a cheap massage or manicure, have a suit made, or purchase a quirky t-shirt or two for friends back home :) We took some friends along on the weekend to check it out!

Love James Dean! Sigh… so dreamy ;)

This guy was awesome – just chilling on his bike outside his apartment complex, watching people go by, and guarding my scooter for me! :)

Thanks to my girl Jamie for helping take some of these pics ;)

yeah fake stuff is such a big problem in china.. being chinese myself, it kinda pisses me off :( i remember i was visiting once and in one of those little markets there was this stand selling ‘abercrombie’.. except all the logos weren’t even spelled correctly “abercrmobie” lol. fake fail.

haha yeah there are some pretty terrible fakes out there! the irony is that it’s mostly foreigners who love buying up all the fake stuff – the Chinese are much more interested in owning the real stuff! haha its a funny world…
