Icy ground

Hey guys, how’s your weekend going? I’ve been slaving away cooking.. well not really, I’ve just been taking some Chinese cooking classes which have been a lot of fun! haha. More to come soon..

In the meantime, here is today’s Look! We spotted this ice scattered all over the small garden near our apartment complex and thought it would make a nice backdrop for the photos. Love this hooded vest, which I also wore here (do you remember?). Let me know what you think! Hope you’re having a great weekend lovelies :)

Friday eye-candy: Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2012

Here’s a nice bit of cheerful eye-candy for you on a Friday! How beautiful is Dolce & Gabanna’s Spring 2012 campaign? Love all the delicate details and printed fabrics. Doesn’t it all just make you want to be tanned and carefree, sitting on a rock somewhere along the sunny coast of Southern Italy? Oh, and to be as effortlessly glamourous as Monica Bellucci and Bianca Balti?! :D

Hope you have a great weekend guys!

Hutongs

During the Spring Festival holiday, Ollie and I spent a little time in the hutongs (alleyways) – my favourite part of Beijing. The hutongs are all that remains of ‘old China’ and are full of hidden restaurants, shops, and the old traditional courtyard houses.

The Look of the Day was about warmth, as temperatures were around -8C! My cosy turtleneck, thick coat, and knee-high boots did the trick as we wandered around the narrow streets. I thought the hutongs made a beautiful backdrop – what do you think? :)
