New purchases!

Ok so I think I’ve exercised pretty good self-control since arriving in London.. not to mention I didn’t shop for two whole months (shock horror!) before moving here too, BUT I just simply couldn’t resist picking a few things over the last week. It’s not my fault, it’s London! haha ;)

Bright and cheery Topshop nailpolishes, and matching star necklace & stud earrings from Kurt Geiger

New shoes! :D Loafers from Office (worn here), sneakers from Aldo (worn here), and strappy heels from Mango (worn here).

Military vest and lemon skinny jeans both from Zara (worn here and here)

Elizabeth Arden Eight-Hour cream (they had a special deal on, so I got 5 small items free!) and Lancome Hynose mascara

Super fabulous J.W. Anderson for Aldo Rise heels! These were definitely a bit of an indulgent treat for myself hehe. Am so in love with these and can’t wait to wear them! :)

What item do you like best? :)

It’s raining, it’s pouring!

It felt almost appropriate that the city was entirely shrouded in cloud and rain all day – as today is Anzac Day, a day when Australians and New Zealanders remember those who sacrificed their lives in war, and to particularly remember the thousands of young soldiers who were killed at Gallipoli during World War I. I enjoy going to the remembrance services every year, as it’s always a really moving ceremony – and one that reminds me to try and live a life worthy of those sacrifices that were made!

So yes, we shot these photos in the rain – a little water wouldn’t stop a dedicated blogger, right? Hehe. Love these patterned pants from Zara, and of course these amazing Marni x H&M earrings – a lovely gift from my friend, Evonne :) These D:Fuse peeptoe booties have quickly become my fav ‘party shoes’ too – they’re so fierce, and yet extremely comfortable to wear, love it!

Battersea

Hey beauties :)

Today’s pictures were shot in Battersea – that’s right, we went exploring south of the river this time! Battersea is really cute – pretty streets and nice restaurants, and a short walk from lively Clapham! Oh and do you like my new loafers? I’ve always wanted loafers! Hehe. They’re my ‘run-around-London’ shoes. With all the tubes and walking you have to do here, I’ve realized I can’t survive without having some comfy flats in my bag to give my high-heeled feet a break – at least that was my excuse to myself as I purchased these.. haha ;)

Hope you guys have had/are having a lovely day, and enjoy the photos! :)
