Oktoberfesssst

Ok so not really a fashion post (or at all), but having just had an awesome weekend in Munich at Oktoberfest I had to share some photos with you :) Huge 1L steins, giant pretzels, men in lederhosen and women in beautiful dirndl, carnival rides, and traditional music – if you haven’t been, I would recommend going at least once, it’s such a fun festival!

Munich itself is also so pretty – we spent our first afternoon wandering around the town centre in the sunshine, among the beautiful squares, shops, and churches. We even found a tribute to Michael Jackson! I’ve definitely ear-marked a trip back to Germany one day, so much more to explore.. :)

Hey Emily – you can pretty much wear what you want! Most people – and locals – are dressed in the traditional outfits (leiderhosen for men, dirndl for women) but a lot of tourists and other visitors are just dressed casually in everyday clothes as well. It’s cold in the early morning and evenings, so take something warm! Hope you have fun :)
