Thailand – North

Ready for another big download of photos? :D

Here are my favourite shots from our second week in Thailand, this time exploring around Chiang Mai in the north. What a week! Trekking through the forest, staying in small farming villages, drifting down river on a bamboo raft, singing around the camp fire, and visiting temples.. amazing. All the people we meet along the way were so friendly and hospitable, and it was an incredible experience to stay with local families and see how they live. I would definitely recommend doing the trek if you’re up for it, it’s a great way to get to know the country and people in a deeper way.

Back to London for me tomorrow, and back to reality after an amazing week in the French Alps.

Hope you’re having a good weekend! :)

B xx

Haha, did you wear shorts to the temple or is that your own skirt? Glad you enjoyed Thailand!

Haha yep sure did – too hot for anything else! The temples provide the skirts / wraps if needed though, so you can still be respectful ;) x

Oh thanks so much dear! Thailand is definitely worth a visit – particularly if you can find some ‘hidden gems’ away from the touristy places. Such lovely people :) x
