A weekend in York

I recently spent the weekend away in York, exploring this pretty little town. Narrow cobblestone streets, tiny pubs and shops, beautiful churches and ancient stone walls, and sparkling with Christmas lights in the evening – it was a welcome and relaxing break away from the hectic hustle & bustle of London. Our two days slipped by too quickly, and I’ve already promised myself another visit in the summer! Hope you enjoy the photos :)

A walk through my neighbourhood

East London is full of interesting places to explore and with all the busy rushing around that seems to happen every weekend, I’ve only seen a little bit so far. So with the weather so nice and sunny over the weekend, and no other plans to stick to I had a chance to go and check out some more of my neighbourhood! Who knew there was a farm in Hackney, violet cupcakes at Broadway market, a store-on-a-boat  in London Fields, or a pretty tiled wall along Columbia Rd?

Hope you like the photos – Happy Monday! :)

InstaBerlin

Ok so I know I’m a terrible blogger.. I haven’t been able to update at all for the last few days while I’ve been away traveling! Sorry for the lack of posts, but with my work commitments, lack of photographer & little internet access it’s been hard to get online let alone put up a decent blog post.. For now though, I hope you’ll enjoy a few of my Berlin Instagram snaps which I managed to upload in various wifi cafes around the city ;) As you can see, my obsession with food is a little dominating.. hope you’ll excuse that haha.

I’ve been in Holland for the last few days, but finally fly back to London tonight. I promise to post up lots of photos soon, so stay tuned! :)

Hope you’re enjoying the good weather – Amsterdam is brilliantly sunny today, and making it hard for me to say goodbye…
