Happy Friday guys!
I just realised the Christmas tree is still up at the office – is that bad luck? Either way, Christmas feels like it was so long ago already! Luckily here in China we do have another holiday to look forward to – Chinese New Year is just around the corner! It definitely pays to celebrate as many holidays as possible
These photos are from last Friday when Ollie finally arrived in Auckland, and we were reunited after 7 months apart! I took him to one of my favourite hang-out spots, Mission Bay – a popular beach close to my home, where we enjoyed a snack and took a few photos (despite the strong wind and scattered rain!). Mum then spoiled us with a Vietnamese dinner and home-made apple pie, mmm!
I love being near the ocean – it’s one of the things I miss the most, living here in Bejing. Doesn’t the sound and smell of the sea just make you feel so relaxed? Hope you’re having a good day, and have a fantastic weekend ahead!

On a windy and grey (but warm) day last week we decided to check out the cafes lining Wynyard Quarter, a new development in downtown Auckland. It’s exciting to see new areas popping up around Auckland that are making it a more and more attractive city to live in! My outfit was a simple combo of these pink trousers and a polka dot tee. Despite the wind, we managed to take a few decent shots! What do you think? You must be sick of seeing these boots and my Karen Walker sunnies, but I’m afraid that not only did I not have much luggage allowance (I could only pack 3 pairs of shoes.. horror!), but I’m also pretty obsessed with both..
Friday tomorrow! What are your plans for the weekend!?
