Last weekend was China’s Mid-Autumn Festival, and the long weekend was the perfect time to celebrate our friend’s upcoming wedding by throwing her a HUGE hen’s night! (Whew, two nights to recover! ;P ) Of course, what happens on a hen’s night stays on a hen’s night… so I can’t post photos from that night here BUT we did celebrate in a more civilised manner during the day, which I can share with you!

Lunch was at the lovely Yi House in Beijing’s Art District, 798. Our waiter was so sweet, and the food and wine AMAZING. Then we took our hen for a mani/pedi, the perfect way to pamper her and pass a drizzly afternoon, trying to reserve all our energy  for the craziness that was to follow!!
