Yellow

London certainly feels like it has a spring in its step – pardon the terrible pun – these days! I feel that I can finally relax when dressing, and choose less layers for once.

This bright yellow coat has hung in my closet for some time now, waiting for the perfect spring weather to make its debut appearance. Yellow is such a cheerful colour, and I completely love this coat – it makes me feel like a duckling or a daffodil, or something equally happy What do you think – do you have a favourite spring colour?

spring in the air

Today is my 1 year anniversary of living in London! Wow, how time flies.. And even more excitingly, this weekend was a brilliant one – spring weather, and sunshine hoorah.

To celebrate, the first ’spring-y’ outfit of the year – with the best accessory, this brilliantly blue bag from Asos. Reminds me how much I love and have missed bold colours!

ASOS floral blazer

Finally, a chance to post these photos for you guys! Sorry for the slowdown in posts – but for those of you who follow me on Instagram (@phoandchips) you’ll know the last week has been a typical London week, completely action packed!

Loved this blazer when it first came out, but I’m always a little cautious with buying things online so didn’t get it straight away. When I saw it was on sale & in my size however, how could I not get it? I’ll probably wear it more with black pants or shorts, but wanted to try something different by pairing it with this white leather skirt – do you think this combo works?
