Golden sunshine!

Today was my last chance to spend some quality time alone with my Mum – before everyone stops work for the year and the extended family arrives for Christmas. Since leaving NZ to live overseas, I find every rare moment spent with family – especially my parents - special and to be treasured! Auckland produced a brilliantly sunny day for us (hooray!), so we decided to wander slowly over to Devonport for a nice lunch and walk along the beach.

My mum and I enjoy spending time together doing simple things – eating, talking, going for walks, or sitting on a beach listening to the waves crash and the seagulls cry. How do you spend time with family?

I’m now looking forward to tomorrow – it will be a busy day catching up with much loved and missed friends! :) I hope you’re all having a lovely Wednesday, and I’ll see you again tomorrow!

Last night in Auckland – a silver jersey and giant bow ;)

For my last night in Auckland, a few friends and I decided to go out for dinner and drinks :) I wore my silver jumper (which is my new favourite winter item!) and a big leather bow I found two days ago to add to my bow collection.. ;)

Before dinner, we stopped to see my friend Onosa’i perform his first solo EP, ‘Chasing Dreams’! He and his band were great, such a talented group!
