This coat is the most beautiful colour and very Celine-like, don’t you think? Cos has some great fall / winter stuff this season, I find it hard to walk past that store without ducking in and wanting to try everything on!
Now I’ve got my winter coat sorted – next on my list is to find some great black winter boots. Any suggestions?

Continue Reading..During the Spring Festival holiday, Ollie and I spent a little time in the hutongs (alleyways) – my favourite part of Beijing. The hutongs are all that remains of ‘old China’ and are full of hidden restaurants, shops, and the old traditional courtyard houses.
The Look of the Day was about warmth, as temperatures were around -8C! My cosy turtleneck, thick coat, and knee-high boots did the trick as we wandered around the narrow streets. I thought the hutongs made a beautiful backdrop – what do you think? 
On a freezing cold but beautifully sunny day, we wandered around Beijing’s wonderful hutongs – on the hunt (as usual) for somewhere to eat! haha These pics were taken around the Beixinqiao area, where the red lanterns hanging outside the restaurants looked so cheerful and happy against the bright blue sky!
My outfit was pretty casual – my big warm Mango jacket, biker boots, and some grey accessories to keep out the wind! This is the winter weather I love best, sunshine and crisp, fresh air What are your plans for the weekend? It’s just over two weeks til Christmas, and I need to find something for our staff Secret Santa & Christmas party next week. I think I’m going to check out The Hutong’s Christmas Fayre on Sunday.. maybe I’ll find inspiration there! : ) Happy Friday all!
